It is both an honor and a joy to invite your nominations for the prestigious Fitzgerald Award—our Association’s highest recognition of excellence in the ministry of Christian unity and interreligious collaboration.
This special award will be presented during our CADEIO General Assembly, held in conjunction with the National Workshop for Christian Unity, taking place the week of September 8, 2025, at the Evangelical Lutheran Center in Chicago.
The Fitzgerald Award is given “for outstanding contribution and service in the work of Christian unity (and interreligious cooperation) to either a person or an organization, honoring the national, international, or regional impact of the recipient and his/her/their work.”
We warmly encourage prayerful consideration for those individuals or organizations whose dedication and witness have made a meaningful impact in this sacred ministry. All nominations and endorsements must come from full, dues-paid members of CADEIO. A nomination form, description of the Award and past recipients are listed here. To allow sufficient time for the Board’s discernment and voting process, please submit completed nomination form, supporting materials, and endorsement from another full CADEIO member no later than Friday, August 15, 2025.
