{"id":1269,"date":"2015-02-26T15:31:10","date_gmt":"2015-02-26T20:31:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cadeio.org\/blog\/?page_id=1269"},"modified":"2022-03-22T13:36:46","modified_gmt":"2022-03-22T17:36:46","slug":"cadeio-institutes-for-continuing-formation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cadeio.org\/blog\/cadeio-institutes-for-continuing-formation\/","title":{"rendered":"CADEIO Summer Institutes for Continuing Formation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since 1981 CADEIO and the Bishops\u2019 Committee for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs (USCCB) have co-sponsored training and professional development institutes for ecumenical and interreligious officers and others \u2013 diocesan commission members, diocesan education personnel, members of religious communities that have ecumenical\/interreligious apostolates \u2013 serving the Catholic community in this increasingly important area of ministry.<\/p>\n<p>CADEIO Institutes for Continuing Formation are offered in a repeating, two-year cycle, alternating ecumenical and interreligious formation studies every other year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cadeio.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Summer-Institute-Schedule.pdf\">2020 Institute for Interreligious Leadership Videos and Resources<\/a><br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/cadeio.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2021-final-schedule-with-links.pdf\">2021 Institute for Ecumenical Leadership Videos and Resources<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>CADEIO Institute for Interreligious Leadership went virtual in 2020 and 2021<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The CADEIO Institutes for Ecumenical and Interreligious Leadership have been the keystone of CADEIO\u2019s mission and ministry for over 40 years.&nbsp; Originally intended as a source of continuing formation for arch\/diocesan ecumenical and interreligious officers, it has become a valuable resource for any arch\/diocesan personnel who need to know the Church\u2019s teaching regarding ecumenical and interreligious dialogue and prayer, as well as parish leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the pandemic the Summer Institutes in 2020 and 2021 convened virtually via Zoom.\u00a0 We were still able to offer what we do as a service to the Church \u2013 formation in Church teaching, overviews of various dialogues and conversations with people of many churches and faiths which discuss and share the possibilities of dialogue, and how our shared purposes bring us together in mutual understanding and service.\u00a0 Follow these links to the recorded VIDEOS of our Institutes:<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/cadeio.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Summer-Institute-Schedule.pdf\">2020 Summer Institute for Interreligious Leadership<\/a><br><a href=\"https:\/\/cadeio.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2021-final-schedule-with-links.pdf\">2021 Summer Institute for Ecumenical Leadership<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please stay tuned for our plans to gather \u2013 hopefully in person \u2013 this summer in July, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the President of CADEIO, Fr.
